Day 1: Delhi to Pathankot
Pick up from Delhi and in the evening we drive to Delhi Railway Station to board the overnight sleeper train to Pathankot.
Day 2: Pathankot to Dharamsala
Reaching Pathankot early in the morning we are met by our vehicle to drive us to the hill resort of Dharamsala. Arriving there before lunch, check into your hotel. In the afternoon we will visit Bhagsunag Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Bhagsu waterfall.
Day 3: Dharamsala Siteseeing
In the morning we will walk around the Kora. This walk is around the temple of His Holiness Dalai Lama and the path is adorned with colourful Tibetan prayer flags. We then visit Tsuklakhang Monastery (Residence of HH Dalai Lama), learn about the Tibetan History in the Tibetan Library and Tibetan Museum, find peace at Nechung Monastery, visit Aghanjar Mahadev Shiva Temple where a stream flows beside the temple Shiva Temple and enjoy the tranquility in Norbulingka Institute.
Day 4: Dharamsala to Dalhousie
Enjoy the long and scenic drive to Dalhousie. Known for its snow-capped mountains and green valleys, there will be plenty of stops along the way. Check into your hotel and in the evening we visit the local market.
Day 5: Dalhousie Siteseeing
Full day of site seeing around Dalhousie. We see an array of small colourful villages dotted in the valleys. We then visit Khajjiar, known as Little Switzerland where there is an opportunity for horse riding. Arrive in Chamba and check into hotel. In the evening witness the Aarti (chantings) from Laxmi-Narayan Temple.
Day 6: Dalhousie to Bharmour
A few hours drives takes us to Bharmour, which is home to 84 shrines built in the periphery of Chaurasi Temple. Check into your hotel and in the evening visit Chaurasi Temple for Aarti.
Day 7: Bharmour Siteseeing
In the morning take a short yet scenic 4km trek to Bharmani Devi (the local Goddess). In the evening visit a local family and Chaurasi Temple for Aarti.
Day 8: Bharmour to Amritsar
Drive to the beautiful and bustling city of Amritsar. Check into hotel and in the evening visit the Golden Temple for the Night Ceremony.
Day 9: Amritsar Siteseeing
Site seeing around Amritsar visiting Durgyana Temple famous for the bliss of Goddess Durga. We also visit Jallianwala Bagh, a public garden established to commemorate the 1919 massacre and the Golden Temple local market. In the afternoon we drive to the border of India and Pakistan to see the flag ceremony. In the evening we transfer to Amritsar Railway Station for overnight sleeper train to Delhi.
Day 10: Amritsar to Delhi
Arrive in Delhi early morning for a transfer to the airport or hotel if staying in Delhi.
